There were two lovers. They stood in the kitchen but as they moved towards one another they shifted into sting rays. Water cascaded up and out from between hidden crevices and pipes and the two lovers swam merrily alongside the outer edge of a pool where a child tried to pet them saying Oishii-ne to his parents who proudly watched, holding each other close on this family outing to the aquarium where they tried not to think about their respective lost jobs or nearly-empty fridge.

Nothing like a sweetly depressing moment to finish a yarn. Right, back to work, I go.
